Project "Janky Old Cube"

Hi! Soon I will (most likely) be uploading a build log of images and such about a new wooden/aluminum computer case. The body will be comprised mostly of wood with the front and back being solid wood pannels with hole shaped for io and hopefully some nice curved edges. The top and two sides will have glass viewing panels with the top being on a hinge (again this is the plan and not necessarily the final product) and the sides being fully removable. The actual shape of the case will be a cube with the motherboard suspended in the middle on 2 wooden or metal plates/rods. The psu will be directly underneath and the drive bays next to or above it. Might get some leds or something to hook up to it. We have a few ideas apart from that main build such as including 2 power buttons, 1 turns it on and if held, triggers a force shut down like usual. But the other, is like a macro that goes through the proper shut down process in the software, however that would be a pain to do. This version is also not the only one we have planned but rather another which will be much more modular and able to network together with multiple of the case stacked on top of each other along with the motherboard as a hole being movable on a rail and a hinge to move it up. Anyway tell me what you think of the idea and if you think it will work. Also any constructive criticism or ideas are very welcome.

Afterthought: The actual hardware that is to go in this case will be some older and some miss matched hardware from other builds. 6gb ddr2 ram, Core 2 Quad Q6600, gt 720, a psu pulled from a computer from 2013-2014 (I don't actually remember XD) and a gigabyte micro atx motherboard that was bought for something but never used. The reason it's not better is because I am only spending $20 on the parts and the rest is going towards building the case.
