Help me pick a monitor!

EPICvX

Hey guys, I want to buy a new monitor but I really don't know which monitor should I pick.

My first choice is a curved 27 inch monitor with 60Hz refresh rate and it is an IPS monitor so the response time isn't great.

My second choice is a 24 inch monitor with up to 144Hz refresh rate, it has 1ms response time but it is not IPS.

Those two monitors are about the same price (about $350)

I am doing a lot of gaming and a lot of image and video editing.

So which monitor should I pick?

yea, 144Hz is probably a TN panel. so the colors aren't great.

better colors + viewing angle goes to the IPS.

better response time + refreshrate goes to the TN.

the choice was easy for me. I don't edit photos/videos, just game/reddit. so TN for me :P

edit:

Rig specs?

Budget? I'd recommend you go for a monitor with 144Hz or 120Hz refresh rate. Save some money and get an IPS panel. You won't notice the difference. Curve not curved is a personal choice.

*thumbs up if it helps you :)*

IPS + 144Hz = $800 usd. if money is not a problem, go for it.
