where would a phone patch panel be?

im taking on a project requires me having to access a phone patch panel in my house there are 3 initial phone cables going from my phone box into my house and the phone cables pass over the garage but after that it splits into 12 cables where would you think this would happen?

The "project" can lead to you being arrested because the patch panel would/is normally in the 4ft phone box in the street or under ground that would control the street/grid and not in your home, now if you have like a business then it would be in the basement by the electrical stuff. You sure you need the phone patch panel and not the phone box on the wall or the junction that may have the internet and other stuff in one hub for a home?

What are you talking about? Arrested? O.o  Patch panels haven't been in the streets since the 60's. Now everything is circuit switch via NIU or VOIP/SIP via internet. Sounds like he has a external NIU with 3 RJ11 lines that go over his garage to a patch panel somewhere that then split it 12 lines. My guess is the garage was used as SMB by previous tenant?

I wasn't meaning to be aggressive, its the the idea was so absurd to me it shocked me. What do you mean 3rd world guy? You or OP? If you, isn't Cuba famous for Macgyver like hacks?

I did not find you to be aggressive and i took no offence. I meant me and not Cuba.:)
