what type of SSD should i get?

hi so im deciding to upgrade my 1tb HDD from my MSI GE62 Apache 276 to an SSD. i mostly aim at having a fast, cool, quiet, and power efficient laptop. what type of ssd would i most benifit from? M.2 or the traditional SATA III one. my laptop has 3 M.2 SSD slots and 2 SATA III slots (one for the HDD and one for the ODD). thanks guys

If you have the money, a M.2 is faster, the power consumption differences would be minute.
