did you try to install multiple drivers at once?

did you touch the internals after you booted it up the first time?

How did you turn it off?

you might have shorted it out...
the thing is that sometimes poer is still lurking in the parts. did you feel a little shock? just a tiny one?
if not, then I have no clue..

If it gets shorted it could die. but since you didn't feel any shock, you should be okey :)

try rebooting in a couple minutes. if that dosen't work, unplug and plug back in.

i've already done all of those things :(((

however, i attempted to turn the PC off with the button on the top of the case, and yet that didnt work. maybe the button is the problem>?

Try reset the CMOS or the BIOS, this happened to me just yesterday. At first I thought the MOBO is dead, then the CPU. Then I popped the battery out for a few mins and back in. It POSTED and worked just fine. Don't worry about the drivers and stuff, It's on the HDD or SSD or SSHD depending on your setup.

Could be the PSU or CMOS since you've already unplugged and plugged everything in. What's your PSU?

If the power and/or reset button on your case doesn't work, it seems to me that the cable isn't attached correctly. Inside your motherboard manual it should point out which 2 pins you need to connect to the cable (those pins are located to the right bottom side of your motherboard most of the time). Once you've located the correct pins, connect the power cable from your case to the pin -take note: there are 2 of those cables, one for reset and one for power- .

To reset your BIOS, you don't need to unplug your PSU. Turning it off with the switch is more then enough. Then you can pop out the battery, wait a few seconds and plug it back in.

Also, I should mention that motherboards have on board buttons that should allow you to power up the PC without the need of an external cable. The location of this button varies a bit board to board.

The battery location can vary a little bit, but is found near the top PCIe slot most of the times. See this image for more info.
