I use the Linksys EA3500 its good but no WRT support.

Just got a new router the other day. The EA3500 mentioned above. Works well.

150 feet+ is ..long range for wireless..

Im happy with my EA3500, it was farily cheap aswell if I remember correctly.

Well the. ea3500 seems to only support up to 500mbps

<p>Wires Suck

Must have good range (about 150feet) and be fast (at least support 1 gigabit) for as cheap as possible

You need to be more specific, you want a router. but you are talking about a range, if you want good help your are going to have to be more specific. i think you meant to say that you need a wireless router. And you cant beat Enterprise Equipment, I have a Cisco 1941, Cisco 2960 switch and i Have 4 Hp procurve 420 Ap's running WPA Enterprise from my Poweredge 2950 Radius server. I have a 6500sqft house and i get a great signal from anywere in my house. For a all in one solution I would recommend a Linksys EA6300, i have 6 of them for CCNP lab training and they work very well.

I also have 5 other Poweredge 2950's i have a small closet with a little ventilation and its soundproof up to 85dB. I had a fan like the one that you have installed in a bathroom put into my 1st floor closet and I had people to come in and install foam and a soundproof door.
