Phone stuck truning on

Title basically says it all. I plugged in my phone last night to charge and this morning its stuck on the Verizon screen. What do i do? The power and volume buttons do nothing

It does nothing... I have a rubber band on it and it does nothing

Try taking the battery out and putting it back in, then proceed to turn it on.  If it still doesn't work let me know.

Power+Volume down is generaly the main set of buttons, which I have tried

Power+Volume up works

It was literally stuck at the verizon loading screen so i couldn't
