where in the case is the rad mounted?

EDIT- Ideally you should use a pull config as it makes for easier rad cleaning, But if your using a top rad as a intake then you should swap it round so it's an exhaust and still in a pull config

the radiator is located inside the case, and the fans are outside of the case(well protected by mesh - nzxt tempest 410 elite)

You may get slightly better temps out of that, But it's better for overall case airflow to have air in the front and out the back/top.

If you want you can swap your rear case fan to an intake so it will feed the h100i with fresh air, lower temps and not have too much effect on case airflow. But the top rad should always be an exhaust :)

ok thanks

It can still work for sure, But ideally you want directed airflow in your case, and with 'hot air rises' the most common way of doing that is by intaking through the front and bottom and exhausting out the back/top and maybe the rear fan as a intake.

Nothing is set in stone though and the situation can change from build to build so it really comes down to what suits your build most and what you are most comfortable running :)

i have an inverted mobo, so my gpu is facing up at the top of the case, putting those fans there have decreased the fan speed from 80 to 50 %

What case is it?

But yeah in situations like that it may be better to use the top fans as an intake and in your situation it seems to be doing so :) but in most standard layout cases top exhaust is the way to go :D

its in my signature, bitfenix outlaw, it has more holes than swiss cheese

You actually get worse temps pulling air through the top. It's dumping all the heat from the radiator inside your case which in furn heats the tubing which makes the fluid inside hotter.

You'd think having fresh air would be better but my experience is it makes it worse. Could be just the way my case is but I doubt it.

Now having front or bottom radiators its better to have them pull fresh air in.
