(Done) A Build Named Jonathan| 5930K and Corsair 400C

I am finally upgrading to Intel from my AMD FX 8350. You might be wondering why this build is named Jonathan. That's because this build is thanks to the best cousin ever ( Moogar )after changing out some of the parts in his build he gave me some really great components. I am using what he gave me along with some parts from my old, nameless rig to start a new build in the Corsair 400C. Specs are...

CPU: Intel 5930K (bought/ shipped)

Motherboard: MSI X99A Gaming 9 ACK (given by Jonathan)

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB DDR4 3000Mhz CAS 14 (bought/arrived)

Cooling: Corsair H100i (from old rig), 3 Noctua NF-F12 and 2 Noctua NF-A14 (Fans from Jonathan)

Storage: 120GB PNY XLR8 SSD, 2TB Seagate HDD (both from old rig)

PSU: Raidmax RX-850AE 850 Watt Semi-Modular(from old rig)

GPUs: 2x  Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 (from old rig, I will be getting one of my Jonathan's 980Ti later this year when he upgrades)

Case: Corsair 400C (bought/ shipped)

Accessories: Puget Systems GPU Braces, Satechi RGB LED Strips (from you know who), Silverstone black and red PSU cable extensions (bought/shipped)

I really couldn't afford to do this without the help of my cousin and I know naming my build after him isn't enough to repay him.

Now for pictures :) Sorry if everything looks a little unorganized. I almost never post images.

I know the GPUs are going to be blue in a black and red rig, but its better than blue and brown. Think Spiderman Colors

I got almost all my parts yesterday except for the cable extensions and figured why not get the build and windows install out of the way. Here are the pics of the near finished result and I will post another pic on monday or tuesday when I get the cable extensions in there.

400C next to S340. I was surprised to see the 400C is smaller then the S340

Despite it being an E-ATX Motherboard, it fit perfectly in the compact 400C

It made the fans rub on the heatsink

Got the cable extensions in this morning and my new build is finally done. Again I couldn't have done this without the help of my awesome cousin Jonathan. IMG_20160213_141844.thumb.jpg.27bedf61d9IMG_20160213_141806.thumb.jpg.e28fea5b5c
