Hey

 

I was thinking of doing a upgrade to my personal rig. I was wandering what I shod get.

 

This is what my rig is now:

 

Power supply:

Corsair Hx 1050

 

Storage:

To WD 1,5T  green drives

 

RAM:

6Gb (don’t know the brand)

 

Motherboard:

ASUS ROG Gene 2

 

CPU:

Intel 1366 xeon E5

 

GPU:

To Asus GTX 465

 

 

 

I have a budget  on something around 900 USD

Why do you have a xeon? Do you game? What will you use this build for? I would say to get a better brand of RAM and a better GPU.

 SSD, 8 gb ram, and new gpu

My rig  case- Graphite 600t white CPU-i5 3570k OC 4.0Ghz RAM- 8gb Vengeance memory HDD-WD Black 1tb PSU-tx650 GPU- MSI 770 gameing edition 2gb , gtx 650 1gb Motherboard- asrock extreme 3 z77 Fan controller- NZXT sentry lx CPU cooler- H60 Peripherals- g300 mouse G630 headset k70 silver cherry mx red switches  my free nas nas Case- Dell something.. the reason i have a xeon is i hosted a server to some friends,

what spesefic prodcts shod i get in that price range ?

Are you in a hurry to upgrade? If not, you should wait for the 9000 series.
