New PC - 5 Beep error

Hi, so i've just built myself a pc. Everything went smooth, got a place for everything. When I powered it lights turned on, however when i turned on the pc. A red little lamp started shining on the motherboard, all fans started rotating and i heard a beep for 5 times, then it shut itself off. So, according to the motherboard manual it should a be a CPU problem, so I've completely reinstalled it and checked for scratches, found nothing. Problem was still there. Im desperate for help. 

 

Specs:

Motherboad: Gigabyte H110M-S2H
CPU: Intel i5 6500 boxed 

RAM: Crucial 8GB DDR4-2133 CL15
Graphics card: Asus radeon r9 380 strix OC 4gb 

PSU: be quiet! system power 7 500W

 

PS: someone thought it was a motherboard which was dead on arrival, could this be the case?

Check for bent pins in the socket.

Did that, socket fine nothing weird or bend, anyone got another suggestion?

I would suspect the motherboard.

You're very unlikely to get a DOA CPU. They are very hard to break, well unless if you take a knife to the CPU.

 

Try taking out the RAM and see if you get a different code. If so then try one stick at a time.
