Alternative USB 2.5" ISO mount

Hi all,

Unfortunately Zalman have gone bankrupt and no longer have the ZM-VE300 in production which was like the best USB 2.5" ISO mounting tool. LCD screen and a jog wheel meant you could scroll through hundreds of ISO's to find the one you want to mount.

Anyone know of any similar products? I know I can get the ISO mount however it's limited to 3 ISO's which isn't great.

I've already looked at phone apps and a USB stick version but they don't suit my purpose.

Ideas?

This lets you boot multiple ISOs off of one flash drive (or USB HDD) with a GRUB style UI: http://www.pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/

Designed for Linux distros but should work for any bootable ISO

Almost as cool as my temps

FYI, Zalman issued a formal statement on their bankruptcy after all the news stories and rumors first reported their bankruptcy status.

From both the statement and the AnandTech Article, it appears they are going to restructure away from the parent company involved in the fraud scandal.

As for ideas to boot multiple ISO's from USB media, you could give RMprepUSB and/or EZ2BOOT a try.

RMprepUSB's instructions and website... are a little confusing, but if you care to read through it all, it's extremely versatile.

EZ2BOOT is what I used to make a single USB drive allow booting multiple Windows ISO's without having to extract them all over the drive.

They have a guide on How to Boot all your ISO's from one USB drive which worked well for me, albeit being a little confusing to follow.

Desktop: KiRaShi-Intel-2022 (i5-12600K, 5060 Ti) Mobile: Moto Razr 50 Ultra (Razr+ 2024) | 30GB CAN+US+MEX $30/month
Laptop: Lenovo Yoga 7i (16") 82UF0015US (i7-12700H, 16GB/2TB RAM/SSD, A370M GPU) Tablet: Lenovo Tab Plus (256GB)
Camera: Canon M6 Mark II | Canon Rebel T1i (500D) | Canon SX280 Music: Spotify Premium (CIRCA '08)
