Is this backlight bleed bad?

So I purchased a MG279Q on the weekend and it seems to have some backlight bleed issues. It's not noticeable while in use, but I'm a bit concerned for when I finish school and can get back into photography where there's potential for it to become a issue. 

 

My my question is if this this is normal for ips panels or if I should exchange it for another and hope that it's better?

not super bad but my monitor is way better

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

omg... thats pretty bad imo. is this a common complaint for that monitor?

I always use my monitor in a well lit environment otherwise my eyes just start to ache. Is it noticeable in normal lighting or just when in the dark?
