Mouse Lag Issue

I've currently ran into some issues with my mouse and lag, it often jitters across the screen and is sometimes immovable. I am using the Razer Naga 2014 (wired mouse) however my other mouse runs into the same issues making me think this isn't a mouse 'wearing out' issue. I noticed my psu was running quite hot so I wasn't sure if that was a cause. My other peripherals are running fine (headset, keyboard etc.) so I'm not sure whats causing the problem. It terms of cooling, i have another exhaust ran rather than just the psu and a front bottom 120mm fan. (my exhaust fan is consistently pushing out cool air, but my psu fan is pushing out hot air.

 

Any help?

mouse driver, usb driver, chipset driver up2date? check on your mouse/motherboards manufacturer website for the latest drivers
