Hey there,

so i'm having this issue with my screens where im casually playing league and all of a sudden one, i will get black screen on my monitors and then i will only see black on my primary monitor and then all i can see is my taskbar.

im running a gtx 970 with latest drivers. the monitors are SAMSUNG S24D300 (primary) and a SAMSUNG S24D340 (secondary)

i bought these at the same time and they were the exact same catalogue order so i dont know why the names are different.

i've had these for over a year now and i dont mind upgrading but if i dont need to spend money. yeah.

any help would be appreciated. i've turned them on and off a few times. if i leave my pc long enough and come back they just book properly.

Which model of the 970 are you using? Also which ports on the back are you using? I had a similar issue with my GIgabyte 980 where using a combination of DP and DVI would cause the screens to display no signal. Eventually moved everything to DP and the issue corrected itself.

What happens when you connect them using hdmi to hdmi? Does the same issue occur?

From what i've been reading, the issues can stem from the bios on the GPU or it could also be a result of too high of a gpu usage (which doesnt seem like the case).
