I am really considering water cooling once again.

Ive seen alot about swiftechs expandable liquid coolers.

Do I void my warranty by doing this?

How many blocks / rads can the pump push through.

Any more i need to know before doing this?

I think of buying a fury x to watercool together with my 4690k

Thanks :-)

You void your warranty by (attempting to) pulling the pump apart or removing it from the built-in reservoir.  Simply disconnecting the lines and adding in new blocks, rads, etc won't harm the warranty.

If they follow their usual pattern, Swiftech will have a specific adapter you'll need to buy for the pump's outlet, so that you can add G1/4-threaded adapters to, if you want.  That adapter isn't expensive at all.  The rest of the holes in the system (2 on the CPU block, 1 on the rad/res) are threaded appropriately for G1/4.

As for the number of blocks/rads/etc, I'm not sure.  Swiftech has a great user forum, and one of their support guys (Ren) is super active on it.  He'll probably be able to tell you how many devices the pump on that cooler can manage.

Thank you for interest our product. Only the X series need a G1/4 adapter for the pump housing. The new X2 series have G1/4 adapter pre-installed. The MCP30 pump can handle up to 1 CPU+2 GPU blocks. This really depend on that block are you using and their restrictions.
