I have a system with a 5820K and a GTX 970 and since I have some money to upgrade I wanted to ask if it is worth it getting another 970 or if it was a better idea getting a 980TI instead.

Thanks.

I would say getting a 980Ti

I just wanted to ask because SLI has some support problems in some games.

Other than that I will probably go higher than 1440p soon.

Sell your 970 and get a 980 Ti.

Don't bother to ask why.

I would go for a GTX 980ti or wait for pascal/polaris because SLI isn't supported for everything and need more power for thes same performance

OK, would you recommend the EVGA Hybrid or the Corsair one?

i have 2x970´s running on a Dell 2715Q 4K display, i´m regretting it..

now when SLI is supported i runs great, but there are a lot of games, that needs improvement on that area, in generel i think the 980TI would be the better card.

the there are issues with SLI in some games, shaders flickering in titanfall, and other wierd issues.

my first go at SLI, and my last.

As much as I love my 970SLi setup and how it whoops a single 980ti in a handful of titles, the vram doesn't stack, SLi isn't always supported, high power consumption, possible heat issues, takes up PCIe lanes, etc.  All in all a 980ti is probably the better choice.
