CPU Cooler FM2+

I'm building a pc soon and im getting a x4 860k proccessor which has a fm2+ socket. can someone tell me a decent cooler that fits on a FM2+ socket

Coolermaster Hyper series. If a 212 Evo wont fit, try a Hyper T4.

I have the exact same cpu. I use the Cooler master seidon v2 120mm. It's loud, but works great. it's a watercooler btw

AMD hasn't changed the CPU Cooler mounting system since socket AM2.

AM2 / AM2+ / AM3 / AM3+ / FM1 / FM2 / FM2+ (possiblly the new socket AM4 as well) are all the same.

 

Your only restrictions are

• Motherboard / RAM clearance
• Maximum computer case / chassis support for large coolers

Your case can hold a CPU cooler 157mm tall. The Hyper 212 evo is 159mm tall. The Hyper T4 is 152mm tall.

 

The Hyper T4 will fit and do a fine job at cooling.

actually i changed my mind in the case now i chose the Armmaggedon nanotron is somewhat the same size as the spec 01

Should fit. No guarantees. I can't find anything on that case other than their website containing no real technical specs
