Best Gaming PC Under $200? (USD)

doctorraichu

I'm trying to make a gaming pc that's rad as balls. I want it to play games like tf2, minecraft, Source games, and more demanding games like bioshock or cod. This is my current plan.

DC7900 by HP ~$90

R7 360 ~ $100

Spend ABOUT 300 get an old core 2 duo system used and a use 280 or 280x or something similar.

Just because you don't care, doesn't mean other others don't. Don't be a self-centered asshole. -Thank You a PSA from the people who do not say random shit on the internet.

If that computer is a full tower with a core2 quad, it will be fine.

I'd buy a better GPU, you can get Tahiti based card (HD 7950, R9 280, HD 7970, R9 280x) for about $100 second hand.

It's a dual core but I don't play many intensive games. Also I've had bad experiences with secondhand gpus. Also it has to be a single slot.

Get a Quadcore, and buy a seconf hand GPU, you can get a GPU so much better for a lot cheaper.

Quad cores are too expensive, I only have 200 dollars.

Look around and wait till a Core2 Quad, (Quad core) Xeon, Phenom x3*/x4 or Athlon x3*/x4 is available in your budget, (* Most x3's you can unlock a fourth CPU core)
