Job age req?

Most places require you to be 16 or 15 with a work permit. But that is in Illinois, I have no clue about california specifically. I would assume the same thing. They basically want you to be able to get to work on time and there are a bunch of laws and regulations around age so most places just stick with 16 which is the standard.
