New To PC Gaming. Please Help!

Prroto

Hi Guys, before i go on i would like to say that i have been a console and a mac gamer for all my life. MAC GAMER WTF? Yes, i play WoW on my MacBook Pro, i have been doing that for the last few years. I have already sold my ps4 because i would like to switch to pc gaming. I have a budget of 800 CAD including taxes. However, i don't mind going over my budget by 50 or 100 dollars if it will give be a better rig. I do not require any peripherals or an operating system. i will be mostly playing WoW on this rig along with some other titles like Battlefield. By doing some research  and thanks to Pcparkpicker i have created the following build.

i am just looking for some feedback as to how i can improve the rig. There are probably some parts that are on the market that's cheaper and has better functionality than the one I have picked. Thanks guys!

Since you don't have an unlocked  (K-series) processor on your partpicker list, grab a cheaper CPU cooler. That one's great for overclocking, but it's not necessary for a non-K sku.

Mobo? Also, obligatory "get a 380" post. Or get a 4GB 960.

inb4 people jump down your throat for getting a CX power supply.

The i5 4460 come with a stock cooler already, and it's not overclockable so you dont need after market CPU cooler. Either save that money or spend on getting a 4GB GTX 960 :3 or if you somehow can squeeze a 970 in it would be even better. But 960 is fine.

My rig: Intel Core i7 4790k | MSI Z97 PC Mate | GSKILL Ripjaws X 16GB 1866MHz | ADATA Premier SP550 480GB SSD | Seagate Barracuda 3TB | Seagate Barracuda 2TB  | MSI Gaming X GTX 1070 | Thermaltake Versa N21 | Corsair CX550M Semi Modular PSU | AOC G2460PF 144Hz | Logitech G502 | GSKILL Ripjaws KM780  | GAMDIAS HEPHAESTUS V2  PCPartPicker | Old Build Log | New Build Log
