Youtube Recording

Hey guys, I just recently started a youtube channel for fun and I wanted to know what software I could use to record my games? 

 

I'm using a pretty crappy laptop but it has a lot of harddrive space.

 

Also what's a good video editor program that I could use?

A "crappy laptop" won't be able to record very well but the best free screen recorder is probably Open broadcaster. Blender has a learning curve but it's good for video editing to. Also the world doesn't need any more gaming channels. Good luck.
