Hello everyone!

On 11/30/2015 I upgraded from a AMD FX 8320 which bottlenecked me to I7 4790K. For the first 2 weeks it worked fine. I decided to install Borderlands (not 2 or Pre-Sequal). I then got this error in the first picture. After that all of my Directx 9 games stopped working, they would crash. For example, Borderlands 2 ran fine in full screen until that error happened in Borderlands. I had since reset Windows and that still happened. I don't remember when I updated my graphics card drivers as that could be the problem. I don't have another graphics card to test with, my current card is a AMD Radeon HD 7990 (stock clock). Directx 8.1,10, and 11 all work flawlessly, the problem strictly is DirectX 9. Please let me know if you have a solution or ideas on how to fix it. Remember that I already tried resetting Windows. I did this with the install disk and have also since updated the BIOS for hope of fixing it, obviously that didn't work. The Borderlands 2 error is also in a screenshot below.

Thanks,

Ferret2007:)

Thanks for the suggestion, Bubblewhale. I tried 3D Ripper DX a few minutes ago and it unfortuanatly didn't work. Just in case there's a certain setting I should have on I will keep it installed. The only thing I check when I tested Borderlands 2 was "Capture Textures."
