Best laptop around $800

I am looking to upgrade from a hp pavilion g7 from like 4 or 5 years ago to something that can run games fairly decently. I would build a PC but I still need to use it in classes and such so I need a laptop. I have been looking at the Dell Inspiron 7550 that was reviewed recently. It looks good but I want to make sure I am getting the best. Also I plan to buy it around Wednesday this week.
