Gamerz

HDD,PSU,GPU,Monitor,PC Case, all check now i'm on a hunt for a CPU,RAM and a mobo so i want to ask more tech savvy people what would be the best upgrade now.

I've searched for RAM and found out that i can get 16 GB DDR4 RAM for cheap so i was thinking to change to the new gen technology meaning Skylake.

I'm thinking to go with Intel i5 6500 and Ripjaws series 4 (http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-2133c15d-16grr) but idk if that's the best idea to go with those.

Now, i'd like to say that i'm not good with cash, meaning that i don't have much and i'm thinking to spend max 250 Euro for the CPU and Max 100 Euro on the Mobo, the money for the RAM is secured and i'm going with 16GB because i want to secure myself for the future(and i'll be needing it for Photoshop mostly and games ofc)

The things that i have right now are the GTX 960, XFX Pro Series 550W, 1TB WD HDD and the case which is a Coolermaster K350. I need recommendations for CPU,Mobo and RAM atm. Thanks in advance.

I'd rather not go with OC build because it voids the warranty and i would need to educate myself on how to maintain it and how to overclock. I'll reconsider that but my biggest reason why i won't/can't OC is time which i don't have much nowadays. Thanks for the recommendation.

It's still faster than the 6500 without overclocking it turbos to 3.9GHz and the 6500 to 3.6GHz

Well he said the budget was only for a mobo + cpu but add 25€ to that and get a 212 evo

Yeah but is it efficient? I don't need anymore power if a 6500 is enough for gaming.

I didn't meant to spend more money than that. Not at the moment at least if its not needed, maybe later like an SSD.

Is the CPU Cooler needed? I thought CPUs come with stock coolers?

Skylake at least skylake K cpu's won't come with a stock cooler.

not needed when going with this particular cpu but I like quiet and cool operation and this is what an aftermarket solution offers. So it's up to you whether you stick with the stock one or go for a more quiet and cooler solution
