4K question

I found a really cheap 4K screen, cheaper than new 1440p screens here

and since my card isn't really capable of nice 4k experience, i was wondering:

if i set 1440p resolution on 4K screen, will it be the same as having an actual 1440p display?

tbh, i'd rather just get an actual 1440p screen. it wont look as good imo.

it's 270€ and 1440p screens here start at 320€ (that beeing 24'' lame ones)

why do you say your card isn't capable?

If it's the Fury from your forum sign, then I think it's very capable.

Remember that the benchmarks you often see, are pretty high on settings, The R9 Fury is totally capable of 60 fps at medium settings without AA in games. You can even manage 4k with a R9 390 or a GTX 970 if you go lower in the settings. 4k at low looks better than 1080p ultra anyway.

yes, all the benchmarks are high, no AA

so i guess you're right
