Budget Intel laptop

Go to solution Solved by CommandMan7,

Go to newegg and grab an old lenovo refurbished laptop and battery for around $500.

Example:

Edit: Cheaper on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B01913DDWS/?tag=extension-kb-20

Has 2.5 Ghz instead of 2.7 like you asked, but otherwise fits very nicely. Has an I5, 128 GB SSD, and 8GB Ram. The only other thing I reccomend would be to get a replacement battery, because refurbished batteries suck. Even then, you can still fit inside the $500 budget. Also, I believe it has a magnesium chassis instead of a cheap plastic, older lenovo laptops are super tough.

Im looking to buy a laptop since my old one broke, and while doing research, I find ones with worse specs that are more expensive.

Are you looking to game on it?

I have an Anet A8 as my project printer and a i3 MK3 for when I want things to work.

I extrude my own filament and haven't saved a penny yet.

I am conducting some polls regarding your opinion of large technology companies. I would appreciate your response.

Ya, used thinkpad for sure, anything with an i5 and 800p or above display, preferably 1080p, unless you care about battery life.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?
