Starting a few days ago, every app/program i download is not showing up in my all apps folder and won't pop up when i search for it.

I did a clean install of windows 10 on christmas when i got my new ssd. Everything has been working fine until a few days ago i decided to download origin to buy battlefront. i noticed right away after i installed origin it wasn't popping up in my apps/search so i instantly rebuilt my search index and made sure origin was included. Even after it was done indexing nothing popped up when i typed origin and it still wasn't in my apps so i just ended up pinning it to my start menu. every time i download a new program now, it wont pop up. all my older programs show up fine. I even tried trouble shooting but windows found no errors with my search/indexing. I really don't want to install windows again but if i can't find another solution i might just have to.
