Hey guys,

I'm new to the tech tips and I'm planning to build my first pc. Since I've never done this before I got some info from youtube mainly from linustechtips and cult of mush and some main gaming pc builders.

I looked for parts and found what I consider to work together and able to run most games on mid to high settings with reasonable fps.

I've got a question about my processor though because I have no experience with overclocking. I decided to use the Intel Pentium g3258 since its cheap and unlocked. Will the overclocking demand a lot of time to learn or is it easy?

I don't have a lot of money to spend absolute max is 700€ so I went with a msi 950 and an evo 212 cooler.

Gigabyte ga h97 d3h 1150 socket or msi z170a g45 2x 8gb hyper x ram 1tb hdd and a 750 be quiet powers up ply plus some extra fans. I plan to buy a full case but my question is: will these parts work together or should I change anything? Msi mainboard vs gigabyte?

Thanks!

since you want to OC, you'll need a Z mobo, cuz H mobos don't support overclocking and i believe this would be better :
