High Functioning Autism

After a long battle with my mental and physical health, I have been talking to friends and family and we think it is possible I might suffer from High Functioning Autism. The problem is I am 34 and getting diagnosed as a adult is difficult. I was wondering if this forum would be a good place to discuss the condition and request input from anyone else who found out they had Autism as a adult. I also wanted to discuss medications that may help with the condition. Before I pour my heart out, I wanted to see if this thread would be welcomed. 

 

I also wanted to discuss THC as a substance and why it seems to help me in a truly medicinal way. I wish to quit smoking, since any smoke going to the lungs is bad IMO, but after 10 years of trying the more typical anti-depressant and anti-anxiety medications, I haven't found anything that improves some specific symptoms. I wish to explore WHY it helps so I can maybe find a more typical medication that can fill the role. I DON'T want a pro/against legalization debate but still want to discuss the issue in a mature and educated fashion. Would this be possible?
