Making a new build for my weekend house

Hey guys,

So, I got tired of having no good computer on my "weekend" house (we spend our weekends there, all I've got is a Mac), and got the idea of making a new build.

What do you think of this and what would you change? Going to be gaming, video editing and rendering, and also often do some 3d renders.

#firstworldproblems aside,

 

the build looks good, but a little overkill. The PSU is overkill, as is a 2TB SSD

Get a 4-channel memory kit, 4x8GB or 4x4GB.

 

I would go with a 512GB M.2(M) ssd. Maybe lower the 2TB to 1TB if cost was an issue. Or even eliminate it. After all the system is not going to be used that much.

 

Unless you plan to use Remote Desktop to access the system, I doubt there is a need for Windows Pro. Likely the standard version will be sufficient.

 

You might consider an IPS G-Sync monitor.

I realize the modules are not white, but Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory  would be a better kit as it guarantees quad channel memory operation. Although the chance of the two kits not working in quad channel is likely quite low.

 

Other than that, it looks very good.

since u have so much budget. might as well just go for 32GB
