LAN Controller not detected

Hi guys,

I ran into a severe problem today.

Tried to turn on the computer and the LAN controller (integrated on my Z87 G41 mb) didn't show up, also the lights on the ethernet port are stuck and don't react to anything.

I've tried:

-Removing CMOS Battery
-Turn off and back on the PC
-Turn off and back on the LAN controller by switching it off and on in the BIOS.

None of that worked, please help me. D:

No, like it is not connected.

very strange indeed. I know this probabaly isnt what you want to hear, but i'd RMA it if i were you (if its still under warrenty). if its out of warrenty, get a pcie nic

I still have the invoice, almost 2 years have passed but... I might be safe.

well, most motherboards have a 3 year warranty, so you should be fine
