AMD Build

Hi, so I'm planning to build a half decent computer that'll be half decent in games and 3D rendering.

Here's the compnents I've been looking at

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 750 Ti 4GB Video Card

Kingston HyperX Fury Red 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory

Asus A68HM-K Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard

AMD Athlon X4 860K 3.7GHz Quad-Core Processor

EVGA 430W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply

and a Kingston SSD.

What do you think, will this be suitable for gaming and rendering?

That CPU is fairly lacking, if you can put like another $100 in for an i3 CPU it would likely improve performance significantly.

What model would you suggest? (Sorry, I'm a noob when it comes to hardware.)

Hmm.

I will help you tomorrow, got to go to bed, but I will be back in about 18 hours to help you pick a processor. OK?

If for just gaming moderately, that's a solid build. but for 3d rendering? no

I'd recommend saving some more and going for a build like this.  I tried to keep the price down as best I could but for gaming and rendering you're at least going to want a quad core, 8GB of ram is all you'll need for gaming but for rendering you might want some more, and for the money I think the 380 or a 380x is a very good option.
