Hey guys.

The parts for my new system all arrived today and I was building it outside the case just to test if all of the components worked. The system posted fine but it only recognised the RAM in slot A1 and not the one in A2. It is an ASRock H170 Fatal1ty motherboard and I was just testing it with two 4gb sticks of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 2133 ram.

Thinking it might be a dead stick, I swapped them over so that the original stick in A1 was now in A2. Again, the stick in the A2 slot didn't show up so I figured it wouldn't be the RAM itself. I tested with slots B1 and B2 and the system picked up both sticks. Anyway to know for sure if this is just a weird glitch or if I have a dead RAM slot on a brand new motherboard.

Thanks in advance. A bit frustrated here!
