I have CS6, and everything was fine, until i got my new monitor (BenQ GW2750) and calibrated the colour using colour charts and gradients ect...

But now everytime i use Photoshop the "white" has a very pronounced blue tint to it and a cant seem to figure out how to calibrate it, i know its not the monitor because web pages and other programs display a pure white but Photoshop wont

this is a really big problem for me because i cant properly edit Pictures if the colour is going to be off when trying to edit them.

Navigate to Edit>Color Settings... Change RGB to "monitor" or whatever you think works best.
Ive played around with that and it hasnt really changed anything (noticed a small difference)

Probably best to recalibrate your monitor, sounds like that where things have gone wrong. I'm presuming things were fine on both sides before that?

You could get a color calibration tool if you are serious about it, the DataColor Spyder is fairly inexpensive for what it does.

Beyond that, not really sure...Could make sure your graphics card settings are not conflicting with anything?

Figured it out, has to restart Photoshop and Forcing the Monitor RGB profile and changing the Gray and Spot Dot gain to 25% seems to have solved everything!

Good stuff :) It can be such a pain in the ass getting the colors just right, and when you do, people just view you're work through sh!t panels anyway.

Glad you figured it out, could be useful for someone else, I've never played with any of the other settings.
