What are some good closed back headphones for around $100, price is flexible by around $20-$30 though if it is not needed, do not include it. No mic is needed, I do prefer open back though in my sense closed is much better, with 2 dogs, a 1 year old sister ect.

You can't go wrong with the HyperX Cloud, it's microphone is even detachable.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

I have those, I want HEADPHONEs, I don't want a gamer oriented headset, they are not worth it. Yes, they are great for the price and if someone needs a headSET they are good though not what I am looking for.

If you want open backed headphones I can recommend the Philips SPH9500s. They should still be on sale on Amazon.

For closed, the ATH-M40x' aren't a bad choice, but they wouldn¨t be my first choice.

I would recommend either the NVX Audio XPT100 or the Shure SRH440s

Yeah, except the HyperX Clouds are a rebranded Takstar Pro80 with a mic attached, and if you look at the Gear Recommendations page, you'll see the Pro 80 on the recommended sub-$100 pricepoint.

Of course it's a different story if the music you like isn't suited to the Takstar's signature.
