The link doesn't seem to load properly for me, but you would be fine with either brand. In fact Western Digital owns Hitachi, literally the same company. The product lineups under both brands are solid.

Got the page to load. Literally pay no attention to that article. It is a regurgitation of back-blazes statistics that they publish, which are wholly flawed for the consumer market. BackBlaze regularly uses drives that are not designed for, nor have the protections for, the scenarios they use them in which makes any data they collect very unreliable.
