Fullscreen CSGO flickers

When i launch CSGO on my laptop in full screen it flickers and after a while looks like a large black bar is sliding down the screen and reappearing on the top, like a loop. I dont like to play it in windowed mode because of various reasons, but windowed and fullscreen windowed mode works. Any body know what issue im having? I have a 540m in this machine and ive tried multiple drivers and all the same issue. it worked just a week ago and i didn't do any updates or anything in that week, it just stopped working. Ive also tried repairing CSGO files and reinstalled it.

Turn off VSync?

Experiment with different graphics settings while fullscreen?

vsync is off. i havent tried launching it with integrated. ill try that

What CPU do you have? Integrated could struggle at bit unless playing at low settings.

oh absolutely. i have an I7 2637m i dont plan to play it with integrated, just launch it. which i did and it worked. then, when i launched it with my dedicated graphics after that, it worked too lol. guess it fixed itself?

Welp, seems like a software problem anyway.
