windows 7 doesn't really play nice with system swaps

how old does the pc even support windows 7?

xp and 10 seem to do better at it.

Wait you installed windows 7 from your main pc?

their isn't going to be a boot loader on the spare hdd if you had windows on your main hdd. and installed on your spare

If you installed windows with a different motherboard/memory/cpu/video driver, trying to then use that OS install on a different computer not going to work so well.

Install the drive in the desired computer first, and install windows from there.

You are trying to swap HDD with windows and drivers between two systems? There's your issue. Windows with drivers doesn't play nice with two different mobos. You could do that with Linux and Windows without drivers.
