How to properly set-up a dual monitor display

Hey guys just wanted to know how to properly setup a dual monitor set-up. I have a BenQ RL2455HM for my main display and a LG L177WSB LCD monitor for my second display and i'm planning to use the second display for light things such as browsing the net while gaming on my main monitor just wanted to know how to setup that kind of scenario. BTW my GPU is a Gigabyte GTX 970 g1 gaming.

Take cables, plug into GPU, right click desktop, go to resolution, set up which display is which. Masturbate while playing CS:GO

Hahaha yeah done that. I used the settings extend display but when i drag my browser to the second monitor and play my games and click back onto the browser when gonna answer pm's from my fb the game minimizes.

You have to set game to "Borderless Window". Not all games support it. Some will flat out refuse to work

Is the borderless window same as the full screen windowed?

If the game doesn't natively support it there are multiple programs to force other programs to use borderless windowsed mode.

Oh i see thanks. BTW does putting it in that mode cap the frame rates? cuz mine got stuck at 60fps after putting it in that mode.

If you have vsync enabled, yes

oh i see i forgot checking if the vsync turned on when i changed it to borderless windowed. gonna check it out later.
