Well 24 hours ago I posted a video of a hacker killing people without being visible but according to everyone at the time, it was "just a bug". Well who's the one with egg on their face now!

And hey look, even the Germans are using my video!

In this day in age it's pretty bad when your game is hacked only two days in, even the earlier Call of Duty tended to have a longer shelf life then that.

I was really looking forward to The Division.

But the game feels like it's going to be repetitive as fuck, and nothing but a gear grind.

Ubisoft once again, has kept their shit-tier games on the shelves. I was really hoping this would redeem them.

Well, I gave my uplay account to a friend who wrote me that there's a lot of hackers in the game already this morning. A few hours later he skypes me and says he's somehow invincible/invisible, there goes that xD

I don't doubt there's people already abusing cheats, but that one site posted a video about a speedhack that to me atleast looks like it's just accelerated.

I expected to see dedicated grief, cheating and bug exploiting, even posted in a discussion 2 years ago. I was not disappointed.

In it's current (beta) state, there are no anti cheat systems present, ubi extending the beta and the issue being raised now should help the game in the future.

Rest assured, Ubi knows. A while back I made a thread (possibly here) about their analysis software. They started tracking in game behavior with Assassin's Creed, very detailed including individual routes taken, time spent on level... It was long ago, I think I remember there was a path around I had to take but some players never saw it and they went down trying to get to the cave. They had graphs showing the paths taken. I bet now they have statistics as detailed as tracking shot civilians and dogs across all platforms.

Ubi will curb this as it may interfere with DLC sales, cheating will become slightly more difficult as it is with other online shooters.

As much fault as there is with publishers, fact is, there is rotten minority out there that's present in every popular game. There are actual sites that sell cheats with online verification to drive sales. In my time with the beta, I've seen examples of extreme creativity and utmost devotion to grief others, especially lone players. I played CS for a quite a few years as well as other shooters but online etiquette is completely gone now. So much focus on obstructing others or just grief in online games, one needs a dedicated team to even the odds. With Division, it started out with technically not cheating but exploiting the experimental state of the game. Few hours later I see the dreaded proof of hacking, a barrel pointed straight in the sky while shooting everyone around him. And then the invisibility hack spread. I still try to play once in a while until someone breaks the game.

There needs to be a lot of content before I buy it but it has potential. It's a massive undertaking, the base building alone needs ton of work to be put in, the numerous features that are absent in the beta need to be implemented and tested... Game has been in making for a while but I don't know if it's enough and in how many pieces it will be DLC'd.

I did not have any technical issues other than mouse click, tabbing back into the game works. There is lots of potential here, it could be an epic game but it needs to rival Witcher 3 in it's size and complexity to fully live up to it's potential but the scale of the game makes it difficult to pay enough attention to each part of it.

This is LTT. One cannot force "style over substance" values & agenda on people that actually aren't afraid to pop the lid off their electronic devices, which happens to be the most common denominator of this community. Rather than take shots at this community in every post, why not seek out like-minded individuals elsewhere?

Well it's a beta. Pretty ridiculous they didn't implement anti cheat but I can guarantee you there will be anti cheat in the full game.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

I've seen so many hackers as well, I saw someone with speed hacks and someone who could kill everyone on the server from a distance, do they even have a anti cheat or nah..
