Currently helping a friend building his 1st gaming&editing pc...mostly for gaming.....and...

any good M-ATX boards? and he wants an i7-3770k...huhuh...is it ok to put an i7 in a M-ATX board? or better 3570k?

got a few here...ASUS P8Z77-M, GIGABYTE Z77M-D3H, MSI Z77MA-G45. which one? or any better ones, any suggestions?

He won't be able to use all that the 3770k has to offer unless he streams gameplay or is constantly recording gameplay + rendering while running a small server. Even if he is, a highly OC'd 3570k can do the job fine. To answer the question is it ok to put an i7 in an M-ATX board, very ok. It would be just fine in an ITX board even. Out of the boards listed, the MSI would be best. I would suggest a P8Z77-M Pro to get the most out of the overclock. Not saying the MSI wouldn't get you there, because most likely your cooling solution would give out before the board does. Also the MSI doesn't come with an SLI bridge :P
