Xbox One Controller Issues

I just wanted to know if anyone has the issue with their xbox one controller where the usb Port doesn't work or barely works. I gotta update my controller but I can't just because of my USB port acting up.

For your PC? If you have windows it should just detect it when you plug it in.

I've tried different cables im positive it's the port. They work fine on my friends controllers

If you've tried it with different cables and none of them work the usb port is probably bad. You could solder a new one in but that would be a lot of trouble, especially if you don't have any experience with soldering. You can probably get another used controller for $35 or so.

Do you know where i could find a port because i have no issue soldering and really dont feel like buying another used controller
