minecraft 1.8.9 singleplayer - server cant keep up

hey guys

im having a bit of a problem with minecraft

when i start/load a world in singleplayer the game lags as if i was on a online server.

this is what the console log shows

[23:18:26] [Server thread/INFO]: dambrown joined the game[23:18:34] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 8537ms behind, skipping 170 tick(s)[23:18:52] [Server thread/WARN]: Can't keep up! Did the system time change, or is the server overloaded? Running 10471ms behind, skipping 209 tick(s)

i have just tried updating java 32 and 64 bit as well as running the game as high piroity but the issue remains.

im more than sure my system is able to run the game fine

system specs if needed:

First off, give MineCraft as much RAM as you can. That will fix 90% of your problems.

Second, MineCraft uses one thread per world. This means that even if you had all 8 cores dedicated to the server, it would still only use 1 or 2.

For the most part though, those messages can be ignored. You shouldnt worry about them too much.

ok that seems to have fixed it

originally had it set to min 1GB max 5GB now changed it to min 2GB max 5GB

now if only i could find out what is causing the blocks to have a white outline [see screenshot] (because all the guides online talk about fixing it with nvidia gpus)

I have never seen that problem. That is interesting.

Do you only see the white on this server? What about other servers, or single player?

Im pretty sure its in video settings.

I cannot remember off the top of my head, but im pretty sure if you press "escape", and click "video settings" anti-aliasing is an option
