Are you sure you need 32GB of Ram? Most people are fine with 8 but some choose 16 if they are doing video editing stuff.

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

4790k is still a very good CPU, no worries

motherboard is ok if you won't be overclocking, otherwise get a Z97

32GB is pointless, get a better GPU, get an AIO cpu cooler or NH-D15's, get the new define r5, I would personally get a better power supply, change the motherboard if you want to overclock at all which you should be doing, if you aren't overclocking then don't get the unlocked proccessor

Spoiler

Mabey go with 16gb off ram i don't think you will ever need 32gb. Down grade the gpu to a 390 or upgrade it the 390x is not worth the extra money. And change the psu not because you need to but change it to a Evga 650w i belive it's better.

My first question: why that much RAM? Do you intend to do some video editing? Or maybe have several hundred tabs of Chrome open?

If not, lower it to 16GB.

My second question: why that PSU? It doesn't show any purchase options on there.

Might I suggest an EVGA G2 or Corsair RMx unit, of around 550-650W?

Outside of questions, change that motherboard to a Z97 chipset board (you should be able to find the equivalent on there easy enough).

Buy a CPU cooler as well. A CRYORIG cooler or Noctua cooler will do just fine, or if you wanted to you could get a Corsair water cooler, such as an H80i.

Finally, that GPU. You could downgrade it to a 390 and not suffer quite as much of a performance reduction. The 390X isn't quite as powerful as it should be, considering the price.

All in all, you would get a functional PC, but there are quite a few issues that I had to bring it up.

But don't worry - that's what we're here for.

I'm not able to knock up a build for you at this time, but I'm sure you can figure out a few things as to what to change.

i kicked out some ram

i found the R9 390x on digitec for less than the 390 https://www.digitec.ch/de/Comparison/5279377-5282112-2763048-2759452

how can i see if a motherboard supports OC?

new list

You'll know if a motherboard supports overclocking based on its chipset.

The board you had before was a H97 motherboard. H97 chipsets are not capable of overclocking.

By comparison, Z97 chipset motherboards, such as the one you have in your updated list, are capable of overclocking.
