Laptop graphics

Hey guys i have toshiba satellite c55-a-1nu with nvidia 710m and intel hd 4k-something..710m has 2 gigs of ram but i am not sure if that's the card i am using atm,so can anyone tell me how to check which one is working and how to activate 710m if intel on is?

Usually it kicks over to the Discrete GPU if its doing something graphics intensive as long as the driver is installed properly, but honestly the 710m isn't much better than HD4000 graphics

well HD4000 is integrated which means it uses my system memory

or something like that
