New case

Go to solution Solved by PaNdRaGoN,

Οk thank you a lot i will probably buy the define R5 white windowed :)

I am planning to buy a new case and i was thinking about the Be Quiet silent base 800. I need it to be quiet and have a good looking...also good quality material. Is there any better option at that cost?? (Does the window panel makes any difference at the sound levels instead of the stock right side panel?)

Fractal design's Define case series is very good.

A windowed side panel will add just a bit of noise but I don't think its really noticable if you're not carefuly listening and comparing both the windowed and non-windowed versions of the same case

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

The window panel is the trade-off. It's not as silent, but it's still pretty damn silent.

For the price, a Fractal Design Define R4 would be better. Just be careful, though - it doesn't have good radiator support. make sure it's a tower heatsink if you don't intend to mod-massacre your case.

Ok so there is not any big difference in between the 2 different types of side panel.

The Define R4 has the same price as the Define R5 at the shop i am buying from...probably the R5 is better than the R4 (i may be mistaken) but is it better than the Silent Base 800??

Both are highly renowned for their silence... since that's what they were designed for. I prefer the Define R4/5 but that's because of the look of the case, and I love the look of the case.
