Motorcycle Insurance? Help a first time buyer

CalebTheEternal

So I have been calling around for the last 3 hours for information on motorcycle insurance. I was wondering if anyone here has any suggestions on which companies are good, as I've never purchased insurance, only my parents have. I want something cheap, yet decently good.

Places I've called:

Allstate - Good rates, currently with them for car. $24/Month

Progressive- Stupid high rates $52/Month

Nationwide - How can they even go this low? $15 a month

Geico - Stupid high rates - $1k/Year

Farmers - Can't quote me as I'm under 18

ESurance - Lady told me I was wasting her time lol

State Farm - Medium rates $46/Month

Any input on these insurance companies would be great, or any help with what kind I should get. I was looking at liability with 50k coverage for health and crap and 25k for property. I would not be covered if someone without insurance hit me.

Personally I'd go with Allstate in that case, as it makes things simpler, easier, and often times cheaper to have multiple insurance plans under one company and account.

I was thinking that, but does it make THAT much of a difference?

You can't complain for $25 a month. I'd rather do that than spend $3,000 a year on a bike that cost me $3,000 -_-

That's how it is. I mean there can be debates on who's fault it was. Insurance companies don't want to pay. I was in an accident in my car and the other person took fault and they had to pay for it.

The coverage is too small, as long as you are poor and don't own anything valuable in your name it doesn't matter I suppose.

Edit: You want better coverage. You are under 18. Your parents are liable for lawsuit if you kill anyone or destroy property exceeding your liability coverage.

I will be getting it when I turn 18. I turn 18 in April.

So another thing. Is that enough insurance? I was thinking allstate. It covers 50,000/100,000 for bodily injury, 50,000/100,000 Guest liability, 25,000 property damage.
