How do you implement a RAID 1 configuration?

You can RAID those together but I believe you will have to wipe the SSHD in the process.

 

No extra hardware is necessary for that - should be supported by your motherboard.

format both and raid1 it. 

 

Although it WILL be funky because they arent the same drive. Technically should work but keep an eye on it.
