Heres the list, need to chose between i5 and 950 or i3 and 960, the two mobos and if it is worth it to add a M.2 boot drive (like 64gb or something)

M.2 isn't really worth it at this price point. You can just get a regular SSD and have all the benefits of them.

I would go with the i3, they're a lot better than they used to be. And it opens up more cash for the graphics card. Speaking of which, I would say get the 380 or a used 7970, unless they're a lot more expensive in Canada for whatever reason. Either one of those cards will outperform the 960 and are generally cheaper.

 

But for that, you'll need a much better power supply. Fractal Design just had their Edison M 450s on sale on the market, that would have handled a build like this easily, because it's made by Seasonic and is 80+ Gold instead of "80+ Corsair". problem is that they were on sale for $44 USD and sold out in two days.

You could wait for them to restock and get back on sale again, but that may take time.

Why not this instead? A 4GB R9 380 (which is better than the GTX 960), an i5 and a reliable PSU!
